EMBASSY OF LITHUANIA IN INDIA CELEBRATED EASTER

On Palm Sunday friends of the Embassy of Lithuania and the Lithuanians of New Delhi gathered at the Embassy for the traditional Easter celebrations.
Palm Sunday was marked not only by the bright photographs of Verbos - traditional bouquees made of dried and coloured herbs, but also by the branches of the Himalayan cedar tree specially brought from Dharamshala in the Himalayas. All the guests had the opportunity to try the Lithuanian Easter traditions themselves, to colour Easter eggs and take part in the egg-rolling competition.
