The Embassy of Lithuania and Arpana Art Gallery present the exhibition of paintings on Nida
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and India
The Embassy of Lithuania and Arpana Art Gallery present the exhibition of paintings on Nida, a unique place in Lithuania, strand of sand between the Baltic sea and the Curonian lagoon declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site.
The collection showcases over 20 paintings from various years of Nida art symposia which are organized by the association of artists “Bridge”. The majority of authors are Lithuanians, but there are also some paintings by Latvian, German, Finnish, Russian and Polish painters in this particular collection.
The Exhibition will be inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Petras Šimeliūnas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in India, in the presence of Mr. Saulius Kruopis, artist, chairman of the association of artists of Nida “Bridge” and the soul behind Nida Symposia of artists.
The opening of group exhibition “Nida” on 16th August, 2012 at 6.30 pm at Arpana Art Gallery, address: 4/6 Siri Fort Insitutional Area, New Delhi, opposite Siri Firt Auditorium gate No. 2.
The exhibition will be open on 16-17th of August.
