On 16th of August to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and India, the Embassy of Lithuania and Arpana Art Gallery presented an exhibition of paintings on Nida, a strand of sand between the Baltic sea and the Curonian lagoon in Lithuania. The Exhibition was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Petras Šimeliūnas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in India, in the presence of Mr. Saulius Kruopis, artist, chairman of the association of artists of Nida “Bridge” and the soul behind Nida Symposia of artists.
