TWO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN LITHUANIAN AND INDIAN BUSINESSMEN WERE SIGNED IN NEW DELHI
On 13th December in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in India the agreement was signed between the Indian Baltic Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) and the Indian company “India Buying Consultants” regarding the establishment of the office of the IBCC in India. As per this agreement “India Buying Consultants” becomes the authorised representative of IBCC. The company “India Buying Consultants” deals with the major Indian importers, until now it was mostly active in the Indian import from the USA, but now it got also interested in import of the Lithuanian products that have good potential in the Indian market.
Also at the Embassy of Lithuania Mr Gediminas Citukas, Director of the IBCC has signed another agreement with the Indian company “JoJobed” for the representation of this company in Lithuania. As soon as in January “JoJobed” intends to launch the e-shop for Indian bed linen, which, in the long run will be able to service the whole Baltic region.
Indian – Baltic Chamber of Commerce was established in 2009 with aim of helping Indian and Lithuanian businessmen to establish contacts and therefore to strengthen economic ties between the two countries. Together with Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in New Delhi the IBCC has organised 4 Lithuanian Business missions to India.
