Coming of Age: Celebrating 21 Years of EUFF in India
The 21st European Union Film Festival invites you for the screenings of a collection of 24 Award-Winning Latest European Films showcasing different genre of European Cinema!
There is drama, romance, comedy, documentary, animation, fairy tale and more in store. Brought to you by the Delegation of the European Union to India, embassies of member states of the European Union and organised with the helping hand of many local partners, the festival will travel from 27th of May onwards to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Lithuania will be represented by the latest work of well known director Algimantas Puipa - The Garden of Eden. The film tells about Lithuania in the near future. The land is full of rich immigrants. Rich Lithuanians that were scattered throughout the world return to Lithuania to spend their golden years in luxurious nursing homes. The laws that govern life and death provide a feeling of security... The residents of the Garden of Eden look upon this "global theatre of life" with tearful smiles and great wisdom.
The screening of Lithuanian movie will take place on Tuesday, 7th of June, 7 PM at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi road, New Delhi.
