Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania paid a visit to Delhi to attend „Raisina Dialogue“
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, visited Delhi, India on February 20-22, 2024, where participated in the high-level international forum "Raisina Dialogue ", and met for a bilateral conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Narayan Prakash Saud.
The Minister took part in the discussion "Northern Lights and Southern Sun: Sustainable De-risking and the New North-South Partnership" held at the „Raisina Dialogue“, where he advocated reducing the risks of economic relations. The head of Lithuanian diplomacy warned about the increasing activity of authoritarian states and emphasized the importance of strengthening global security measures.
Minister G. Landsbergis emphasized in the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal that both countries are interested in diversifying supply chains, strengthening cyber security and increasing resistance to hybrid threats. The Minister was pleased with the constantly growing academic cooperation between the countries, which is marked by the exchange of scientists and students between the universities of Lithuania and Nepal.
Also, the Minister met with Lithuanian honorary consuls in the region.
